Senior Human Resource Consultant
Marcia Woodworth has extensive management and human resource experience working with employers of all sizes and industries. As a Senior Human Resource Consultant, Ms. Woodworth’s responsibilities at HR One include advising clients on a variety of employee management and HR issues, ensuring clients are in compliance with Federal and State employment regulations, up-to-date with writing employee handbooks and job descriptions, has extensive experience recruiting for all employment levels, and develops and conducts training programs in the areas of: interviewing, anti-harassment, performance management systems, corrective action/discipline, and effective communications/listening skills.
As a strategist and strong accessible leader, Ms. Woodworth is known for driving growth and profitability. She supports all of the business operations, including executive leadership, HR practices, and as well as quality performance management. Throughout her career, Ms. Woodworth excels in being a results-focused, quality driven professional with her extensive experience in administration and management positions, demonstrating consistent achievement of objectives, strong multi-tasking and service skills, as well as dedication to organizational goals. With her advanced relationship development abilities, she has success with improving morale, and establishing policies/procedures to ensure employee retention and a positive work environment.
Prior to joining HR One, Ms. Woodworth has owned and operated her own Human Resource consulting practice, assisting employers with both strategic and day-to-day HR needs. Before running her own business, she held executive level administrative and human resource positions at St. Joseph’s Health / Physicians, Children’s Health Home of Upstate NY, and Upstate Community Medical. Her responsibilities included performance management, conflict resolution, recruiting, compliance, employee training and development, managing COVID-19 policies and procedures, and being the liaison between all levels of management concerning minor to complex issues.
Ms. Woodworth holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management from SUNY Empire State College She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, where she has completed numerous courses in strategic human resource programs.
