Lisa Steinfest

Senior Human Resource Consultant

Ms. Steinfest is a Sales/Management/Training Specialist with strong professional experience in increasing levels of responsibility and bottom-line impact.  Proven skills as a manager in sales and people development; including staff recruiting and training, business to business networking, and multi-site region and district management.

Her responsibilities at HR One include analysis of human resource best practices, wage and salary administration, development of employee handbooks, performance appraisal systems, job descriptions, one-on-one mentorship, and team training.

As a Human Resources Consultant, she has extensive experience in the areas of human resource planning, employee relations, performance management, employment regulation compliance, benefit plan design, recruitment and training.

Prior to joining HR One, for eight years Ms. Steinfest held the position of Human Resource Manager for Lowe’s Companies, Inc. in Syracuse NY.  In that position she was responsible for proactive and effective recruiting, staffing and training; effective execution of Lowe’s policies, management practices, and legal requirements; and exceptional customer service execution to Lowe’s internal and external customers.

Preceding that role, Ms. Steinfest held several senior management roles in Syracuse, NY for nationally recognized organizations, including:  Operations Manager of TJMaxx, Regional  Human Resource Manager at Ames Department Store, Executive Director of Training with Agway Retail Services, and National Field Training Manager for Sears Roebuck. 

In addition to her extensive work experience, Ms. Steinfest was a Retail Professor at Syracuse University, instructing retail classes in Sales & Development and Visual Merchandise Presentation.

Ms. Steinfest is a graduate of Cazenovia College with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Arts and Science.
