Senior Human Resource Consultant
Danielle Dexter has extensive management and human resource experience working with employers of all sizes and industries. As a Senior Human Resource Consultant, Danielle's responsibilities at HR One include advising clients on a variety of employee management and HR issues, ensuring clients are in compliance with Federal and State employment regulations, up-to-date with writing employee handbooks and job descriptions, and develops and conducts training programs in the areas of: interviewing, anti-harassment, performance management systems, corrective action/discipline, and effective communications/listening skills.
Prior to joining HR One, Danielle held the position of Human Resource Manager with Burdick Companies, various human resource roles at Self-Direct, Inc., The Post Standard / Syracuse.com, and MetLife. In these roles she managed all aspects of employee management responsibilities including, benefits, talent acquisition, interviewing, onboarding, payroll processing, workers’ compensation and disability claim administration.
Danielle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Ashford University with a concentration in Human Resource Management. She has completed coursework in HR Management, Group Behavior in Organizations, and Management for Organizations. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, HR Professional in USA, MetLife Home Loan Alumni, and the Women’s Leadership Initiative at Syracuse University (2015).
