Senior Human Resource Consultant

Amanda has extensive management and human resource experience working with employers of all sizes and industries.  Prior to joining HR One, Amanda completed a successful career with Wegmans Food Markets.  She held the position of Service Team Leader with responsibilities in Human Resource Management.  Her responsibilities included performance management, conflict resolution, recruiting, compliance and employee training and development.

As a Senior Human Resource Consultant, Amanda’s responsibilities at HR One include:

  • employee training/development;
  • supervisory and anti-harassment training;
  • full cycle recruitment;
  • employee relations;
  • benefit administration;
  • insurance claim processing;
  • strategic planning, I-9 audits;
  • development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures, and;
  • providing effective corrective discipline.

She has extensive experience in compliance with federal and state employment regulations and in writing employee handbooks and job descriptions.

Amanda holds a Bachelor of Arts from Binghamton University and received her Master of Business Administration degree from Le Moyne College with a concentration in Human Resource Management.  She has completed coursework in HR Management, Labor Relations, Organizational Dynamics, and Strategic management.  She is a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management.
