Senior Human Resources Consultant
HR One, a premier full-service payroll and human resource consulting firm located in CNY seeks an experienced and talented Human Resources professional to join our outstanding consulting team. This is a full-time position with an established book of business as our company continues to grow. As a Senior Human Resources Consultant, you will provide guidance, leadership, and direction to business owners and managers regarding HR strategic planning, practices, policies, and procedures. To be successful in this position, you must have excellent communication, organizational, and conflict management skills and be able to relate to senior management and staff employees effectively. Your ability to analyze, develop, and implement programs in the areas of hiring, orientation, performance evaluation, compensation, employment separations, and others is highly required. You must also be able to conduct workplace investigations and prepare written and verbal recommendations to senior management. You will review and develop employee handbooks, job descriptions, and employment-related forms. You will work independently with a solid support system from the HR One team.
A BS degree in Human Resources Management or related field is required; SPHR certification is preferred. Must have a minimum of 7-10 years human resources generalist experience with 5 years in an HR management role. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, and Outlook. Must have strong knowledge of NYS and Federal employment laws. You must have a valid NYS Driver's license, a reliable vehicle, and be willing to travel to client locations located mostly in CNY.
