Employers must post OSHA 300A injury/illness summary from February 1 through April 30?
It’s that time of year again, when OSHA requires covered employers to annually complete an OSHA Form 300A “Summary of Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses,” to summarize the number of work-related injuries and illnesses that occurred in the workplace during the previous calendar year that were logged on the OSHA 300 Form. The completed OSHA Form 300A for 2014 must be certified by a Company Executive, and be conspicuously posted in the workplace where notices to employees are customarily posted, until April 30.
A separate OSHA Form 300A must be completed for each establishment, or worksite, that is expected to be in operation for one year or longer.
Covered employers must post the form, even if there were no recordable injuries or illnesses in 2014, by placing a zero on each bottom line. A copy of the form should be made available to employees who do not report to any fixed worksite, or who travel from worksite to worksite.
Organizations with 10 or fewer employees during all of 2014, religious organizations, and certain low-hazard industries, are normally exempt from OSHA's general recordkeeping and posting requirements, and do not have to complete or post the OSHA Form 300A. However, due to changes in OSHA's recordkeeping requirements that went into effect January 1, 2015, certain previously exempt industries are now covered.

OSHA can cite and fine a covered employer who fails to properly complete and post OSHA Form 300A.
