Paul began his professional career at the Dewitt, NY based Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of New York (IIABNY), a trade association representing insurance professionals throughout New York State. During his five years with IIABNY he worked in a variety of roles, including marketing, communications and was the key contact for local chapter member relations. He traveled the state working with local chapters of the association from Buffalo to Long Island expanding membership growth, legislative advocacy and professional education. Paul managed the social media outlets for the association, was a contributing writer for member publications and developed a weekly web video series on various topics to promote the membership benefits of the association.
While he was with IIABNY, in 2011 Paul was nationally recognized with Honorable Mention Hermes Creative Award for his web video series “Products and Benefits with Paul Banuski.”
In 2012, Paul relocated to Alexandria, VA to become the national Communications Manager for Trusted Choice, the consumer brand for the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America. Paul managed Trusted Choice online presence, communicating branding strategy to industry stake holders and developing consumer content on a variety of insurance coverage and exposure topics. He developed and executed a national social media campaign to promote the Trusted Choice brand by raising money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. During his time with Trusted Choice he significantly grew the brand's consumer presence on social media sites like Twitter and Facebook.
Paul is responsible for HR One partner support for branding, marketing and website content.
Paul attended The American University with a concentration in political science and communications.
