Senior Human Resource Consultant
Jeff has over 20 years of extensive experience as a human resources professional and consultant. Prior to joining HR One, Jeff held the position of Manager and Director of Human Resources for companies in manufacturing, life sciences, and staffing in Central NY. As the senior human resources professional in the organizations he has worked for, he has been relied on to lead all HR activities including strategic human resource planning, policy development, employee relations, wage and salary plan design and administration, talent acquisition, benefits selection and administration, succession planning, performance management, training, wellness, complaint investigations, and government compliance. In addition, Jeff has an extensive safety background and has assisted companies by developing safety policies, procedures and safe work practices.
Since joining HR One, Jeff has developed comprehensive employee handbooks, summary plan descriptions, and safety manuals. He has successfully performed skills assessment of corporate leadership, implemented training programs designed to build the skill sets of those leaders, conducted formal investigations on complaints filed by employees, responded to numerous Human Rights complaints on behalf of his clients and ensured compliant HR practices for his HR One clients.
The scope of his responsibility has included compliance with AAP/OFCCP, wage & salary administration, I-9 reporting, performance appraisal practices, recruitment, selection, and operations planning in both union and non-union environments, OSHA regulations and strategic workplace accident reduction programming, and other state and federal employer compliance requirements.
Jeff currently services a variety of industries targeting manufacturing, higher education, services, technology, and health care.
Jeff holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Master in Education-Personnel Administration (M.Ed) from Kent State University, as well as certification in human resources management from Syracuse University.
