Caprice has over 10 years of experience in Operations Management and Human Resources Management working with employers of all sizes and industries. She is highly skilled at relationship building across organizations and teams, professional business presentations, and interpersonal communication skills. Adept at assessing needs, generating options, and implementing solutions in collaboration with clients.
Her background includes assignments as Director of Human Resources for Sky Armory/The Events Company, Finger Lakes Business Services, Inc., New Beginning Home Care, Inc. and Human Resource Consultant for HR Connection. She also served in the role of Director of Operations for a foodservice company with over 150 employees.
In her HR leadership roles she has had direct hands on experience in all areas of Human Resource Management including recruitment and retention, employee relations, benefits administration, training and development, policy and procedure creation and implementation, compliance and unemployment program coordination.
As a Senior Human Resource Consultant, Caprice’s responsibilities at HR One include advising clients on a variety of employee management and HR issues. Caprice has expertise in compliance with federal and state employment compliance, developing employee handbooks, job descriptions, and conducting training programs in the areas of: Interviewing, anti-harassment/discrimination, performance management, corrective discipline, and effective supervisor communications skills.
Caprice is a graduate of SUNY Oswego with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources Summa Cum Laude. Caprice has obtained a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certificate through the Human Resource Certification Institute and a Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) designation from the Society for Human Resource Management. She holds national and local memberships in a variety of organizations, including the Society for Human Resource Management and the SHRM-CNY Chapter as an active Committee Member for the CNY SHRM Programming/Events Committee.
